A FLAGon is a flying dragon, whose body takes on the colours of the queer flags it embodies. Before it imprints, a FLAGon is completely white. As it imprints on a person, it begins to take on the hues of a flag its person relates to (rainbow, gay, lesbian, bi, pan, trans, ace, non-binary, genderqueer, or aro). Once it imprints, it gains the power of flight and telepathy. FLAGons range from 19-43cm in size.
A FLAGon is at peak power when protecting the person it imprinted on. It is said the connection between a person and their FLAGon is like nothing else in the world, and once a FLAGon has imprinted, it is connected for life. Happily, a FLAGon's lifespan is close to that of a human, making them perfect matches for lifelong companionship.
